InkLab ("we", "us") is operated by Barron of Brands (Pty) Ltd (Reg. 2026/510985/07), trading as InkLab based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. You can reach us at [email protected].
InkLab is a subscription software application for professional tattoo artists to design cover-up tattoos, including drawing tools, image scanning, an AI stencil converter and a body preview. Access to the app requires an active paid subscription (or founder/complimentary access).
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. A single studio subscription may cover up to four (4) artists.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through PayFast, after a 14-day free trial. Pricing is R200/month (South Africa) or $12/month (global), plus R50/$3 per extra artist up to a maximum of four artists. Prices include applicable taxes where required. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
You retain full ownership of the artwork and designs you create in InkLab. We retain ownership of the InkLab app, software and branding. You grant us a limited licence to process the images you upload solely to provide the service (for example, generating an AI stencil).
You agree not to misuse the service, upload unlawful content, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app.
AI-generated stencils are produced by automated models and provided "as is". You are responsible for reviewing any output before use on a client.
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
